Consultation FeesWhat would it cost for me or my child to come to counselling? According to the Australian Counsellors Association, counsellors are entitled to charge a minimum of $70 and a maximum of up to $150 for a standard one hour counselling consultation. Inside Out Counselling & Training charge the following fees (as of 1st January, 2008). Appointments with Monique Rutherford: Initial Parent Session, Individual Child or Adolescent Counselling Sessions - $80.00 for each Consultation (1 hour) Individual Parent Counselling - $110.00 for 1.5 hour or $140 for 2 hour consultation On presentation of a current government concession card: 1 Hour - $60 1.5 Hours - $90 2 Hours - $120 If you would like to enhance your counselling sessions by adding the emotional healing modality of vibrational essences, a 15 mL bottle is $10, or a 25mL bottle is $15. Monique is also a registered service provider for the North Coast Aboriginal Corporation for Community Health (NCACCH) Brokerage System that provides health services at no cost to the Indigenous populations residing in the Sunshine Coast and Gympie regions. For more information regarding referral, phone NCACCH on 5443 3599. Payment Payment at time of consultation is required and can be made by cash, EFTPOS or credit card. Counselling fees are not generally reimbursed by private health funds; however Grand United Health Fund does provide a rebate. Please let us know if you are a member and require a provider number. Please note that if you forget your appointment, arrive late, or give less than 24 hours notice of your inability to attend, you will still be charged the usual fee for this session due to this time being set aside for you. Appointment Times Appointments with Monique are available on Wednesdays and Fridays between 9.00am and 3.30pm.
Report Writing If clients require a written report for medical practitioners or schooling purposes please speak to Monique about this at your initial assessment session. Please note, Monique does not write reports for court. The cost for report writing with Monique is $90 per hour. |
